A four season regenerative vegetable farm, stone fruit orchard and land-based education program
We grow high quality and nutrient dense produce, responsibly grown on 6 acres in Palisade, Colorado. Our 9 acres of stone fruit trees include peaches, nectarines, pluots, apricots and plums. We offer our produce year-round at specialty grocery stores, restaurants and food access organizations across the state of Colorado.
Regenerative
We use management practices on our clay high-desert soil that go beyond organic, employing a variety of techniques like minimal tillage, crop rotation and diversity, cover cropping and livestock integration. Use of these techniques allows us to be stewards for the land and sustainably manage the soil with care with the long-term viability of the farm in mind. As a small-scale farm we focus on quality, choosing crops grown specifically for the needs of our customers that we think taste the best.
Beautiful, Delicious & Nutrient Dense
As a small scale farm we focus on quality, focusing on crops that are seasonally appropriate and choosing crops that we grow specifically for the needs of our customers, that we think that taste the best. We take pride in providing our customers with food as beautiful as it is delicious and nutrient dense.

The Future of Food
Early Morning Orchard is also a place of training for those whose wish to engage with the land and food in a meaningful way. We offer land-based education programs for beginning farmers and young chefs that provide an immersive seed to community experience.
Our Crew
Partners
Early Morning Orchard is a wholesale-sales only farm. We sell our fruit and produce to Skip’s Farm to Market farm stores in Basalt and Fruita, Skips Farm to Market Summer Fruit Stands in Buttermilk and Carbondale and Moonflower Community Co-operative in Moab, Utah. We make deliveries of produce, fruit and other Colorado farm products to these stores and our chef partners weekly.
